Signs of Failure

🧩 Words That Invite Failure

We're already near the end, so let's just make the tutorial quickly

The tutorial is the most crucial guide that leads players to the “fun” of the game
Once this is taken lightly, the appeal of the game will no longer be conveyed

I understand it, so it's fine, right?

A self-centered response to feedback that is hard to understand
Fun never comes from a feature created without considering the user's perspective

For now, just test the parts that are “already done”

Testing unfinished parts always leads to redoing everything later
When this line appears, the schedule is already collapsing
Re-check time becomes insufficient, often resulting in releasing with insufficient testing

We’re short on time, so let’s release it now and fix it later

Once a game is released, user evaluation is already decided
A bad reputation, once earned, cannot be erased

Specification document? We don’t have time to make that

Once no one understands the specifications, chaos accelerates rapidly

We released it like this before so it should be fine

“No issues in the past” does NOT equal guaranteed safety

It’s just a small change, so it’ll be fine

There are almost no cases where this statement was actually “fine”

That’s just because the spec document is wrong, so ignore it

【Classic Pattern】
1. Tester reports a bug
2. Developer says “the spec is wrong, so no problem”
3. This is repeated many times
4. Tester reads the atmosphere and stops reporting
5. No problem occurs even without reporting (because the spec IS wrong)
6. One day, a huge incident occurs
7. Tester is blamed: “Why didn’t you report the mismatch with the spec?!”

You’re just a tester—don’t get cocky! Testers should stay quiet!

【Classic Pattern】
1. Ignore the tester’s feedback
2. After release, the same feedback comes from users but is ignored again
3. Sales and DAU keep dropping
4. Panicking, the developers finally fix the issue
5. By the time it’s fixed, the users are already gone
